2023 10 31 Peebles to Eddleston Path
As the walk covered much of the route of the Eddleston Water Project we thought it would be useful if we included the details of the Eddleston Water Project. The Eddleston water is the site of a long-term catchment study into the effectiveness of using natural flood management techniques such as re-meandering and installing log dams to slow the movement of water towards Peebles.'
One thing that has puzzled us for some time has been the connection of the railways in Peebles, so to keep Colin from getting tired trying to explain how they connected , this link gives a map which makes it a lot clearer.
