Centenary Dinner - Grace

The grace was presented in verse by the School Principal, Gareth Edwards:

Lord we gather for our dinner

Many a Scout and few - we hope - a sinner.

Morningside 9th one hundred years

Beavers and Cubs can give three cheers.

Campfires warm at Jophie's Neuk

Nineacres now at Devon Crook.

So give us friendship, sense of humour,

Banish malice, spiteful rumour.

While in Scout days' reminiscence,

Savouring drink and good food's essence.

May we show, both lad and lass,

from our hearts, Scouts' "caritas"
