How to get your photographs into the Archives.

For individual Photographs.

Give/Send the photographs to the Archive Master with as much of the following information as possible. The more that is available the more meaningful it is for people viewing it.

Title for the Photograph, Comments about it : background; where taken; the event; who was in it

If you have put your photos on Flickr or Picassa or an equivalent

If you want the photographs to be loaded onto the website you must inform the Archive Master giving him the Log-In details and password for the system you have used. Please note that as this site will be accessed by the Archive Master, do not use your normal password.

Ensure the photographs have a meaningful name, preferably giving date (yyyymmdd Format) of photo and event.) E.G. “1982 08 29 Scout Camp Kingussie Fulmar Patrol .JPG”

If you can, you should give each one a Title and any comments about it. where taken. the event. background If the system allows you to tag the photograph with names enter the names of anyone on the photo as this allows the photostream to be searched to find individuals.
